Jenkins family papers Bulk, 1800-1890 1800-1920

Edward Jenkins (1758-1829) owned and operated a store in Gwynedd, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. After his death, the business was taken over by one of his sons, Charles Foulke Jenkins (1793-1867). Charles F. Jenkins' son, Algernon Sidney Jenkins (1816-1890), was a long-serving Justice of the Peace in Gwynedd. "Edward Jenkins [1758-1829], had purchased in 1794 the property on what was then called the New Wales road ([later] the Spring House and Sumneytown turnpike road), just above the Gwynedd Friends' meeting.
